閉關了好久以後，終於把論文完成了翻譯鉦昱翻譯公司在英國研究的是「運用工藝」(Applied Crafts)，所選擇的研究類型為「設計研究」(Design Research)，設計研究類型為40%的研究及60%的設計品，是以論文的字數在10000~12000字，在英國的報告作業中，城市以字數量作為要求，這點是有別於台灣的教育。
我的研究主題為：An Investigation into Metallic Textures for the Application of Mobile Phone Design. 主要是經由一些簡單的運用方法，瞭解傳統工藝若何與現代產品的連系，是以在這個研究中，過程當中的每個細節都是很重要的，這其中牽扯所謂的設計「方式論」(Methodology)。本論文總共分為九個章節：
Chapter 2 Literature Review 文獻探討
The purpose of this project was to investigate the possibility of combining craft and consumer products. The aim is to design a range of metallic textures that can be applied to mobile phones翻譯社 the shape of which was decided based on a survey. The project was a record and collection of design methodology. The research includes a review of the literature, a case study and observation and questionnaire surveys. The existing literature on the jewellery manufacturing process via CAD/CAM was reviewed because the craft of jewellery is important in the UK. The case study is to discuss the process of digital craft. The observation is to survey the existing marketing of luxury mobile phones. In addition, the researcher was able to demonstrate the process of manufacture by CAD/CAM.
The research provided an idea for the application of digital craft to a technology product. The researcher hopes that different areas of the design field can be mixed and applied in the future. However, this project is just a beginning and points to the potential for further research.
